Worst Features

The obvious downside is this it’s not a full World of Warcraft strategy guide. It does not list Alliance quests, it does not cover instances, and I does not cover end game material. It’s only focused on how to level from 1-80 as fast as possible with Horde ONLY.

I have found that some map co-ordinates were slightly off and sometimes you need to walk on to hit the right co-ordinates. Also, some quests are multi step quests and there’s no real warning or explanation. It can be confusing at first as to why a certain NPC won’t supply you with a quest.

Although there’s a TON of information included in the guide it can be overwhelming. With more than 35 hours of video you will most certainly find your answer, but it can be quite time consuming and downloading 12GB of WoW videos can take ages.

I believe that Joanas 1-80 Horde Leveling Guide is one of the fastest way to level as Horde. His leveling path is by far the fastest and is so well worked out that each quest just flows into the next. Although there are some co-ordinates that were slightly off it was a whole new WoW experience with Joana’s guide.

The fact that the in-game mod comes with more detailed explanations really makes you understand the game so much better and overall it was just a lot of fun. I’ve always been an Alliance kind of guy, but I think Joana might have turned me for good. Unfortunately it’s never been that great as a gold guide and it’s always been my biggest criticism of this guide. However the latest (2009) update has one of the best gold guides around with some unique gold making strategies.

Although the installation instructions are very easy and thorough the  actual guide does have a learning curve. It definitely take a bit more getting used to and the fact that there’s no real welcome screen makes it quite hard to figure out at first. After a day or 2 you will start to catch on and get into it, but I do think that a welcome screen is lacking in Dugi’s guide.
